The limestone sculptures in The Mineral Body were formed in four months in the Fontaines, following a period of research as the Inaugural Artist Fellow in both the coral, mineral and geology collections at National Museums Scotland. This work was first shown as part of the solo exhibition The Library at Chambers Street Museum, N.M.S., Edinburgh in 2013, and went on to tour to Kunstmuseen Krefeld; Kunstmuseum Thun; Galerie im Taxispalais, Innsbruck; Extra City, Antwerp; Musée Zadkine, Paris and MAMAC, Nice.
